Mission

We are a nonprofit organization based in Raleigh, NC. Our primary mission is to help people in need. Among other things:

• We help people in the US pay rent, buy groceries or pay medical bills.

• We also offer help overseas. Whether it's helping villagers in The Gambia, West Africa, with medical supplies for a health center or constructing solar-powered boreholes for clean drinking water or helping students in Senegal with food supplies, we do it all.

• We serve as a conduit for people to help each other.

We would like to see anyone getting help today to be back on their feet or recover from whatever is affecting them and be a helper to others in the future.

Empathy: At some point in our lives, all of us, needed some kind of a helping hand or heard of someone who needed it. As a result, we are able to put ourselves in the shoes of others and help them out when they need it.
